Spark is a community built on trust and respect. These standards outline what is and isn't allowed, and how we work together to keep everyone safe — especially children.
Our Commitment to Safety
Spark is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful environment for all users. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any content that endangers minors.
These Community Standards describe what is prohibited on Spark, how we enforce these rules, and how you can report concerns — including child safety issues.
Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
Spark strictly prohibits any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation. This includes, but is not limited to: grooming behavior, sexual communication with minors, solicitation of sexual content from minors, and any attempt to use the app to contact or exploit anyone under 18.
Profiles that suggest the user is under 18, or that target minors, are removed immediately upon discovery.
We cooperate fully with law enforcement and child protection agencies in investigating and responding to CSAE violations.
Addressing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
We do not allow any child sexual abuse material on Spark. Any detected CSAM is removed immediately, the responsible account is permanently banned, and the content is reported to the appropriate authorities.
Spark reports all suspected CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline, in compliance with applicable U.S. law (18 U.S.C. § 2258A).
We also report to relevant international authorities where required by local child safety laws.
Age Requirements
Spark is strictly for users 18 years and older. We require a birthdate during onboarding and do not permit anyone under 18 to create an account.
If we become aware that a user is under 18, their account is terminated and their data is deleted.
If you believe a minor is using Spark, please report the profile immediately using the in-app reporting tool or contact our child safety point of contact.
How to Report a Safety Concern
In-app reporting: Every profile has a report button (flag icon) that lets you flag inappropriate content, harassment, underage users, or child safety concerns. Our moderation team reviews every report.
Child safety reports: When you select "Child safety concern (CSAM/CSAE)" as the report reason, your report is prioritized and reviewed urgently.
Reports can be submitted anonymously through the app — your identity is not shared with the reported user.

Spark maintains a dedicated child safety point of contact for concerns related to child sexual abuse and exploitation.

This contact is monitored for urgent child safety reports. For immediate danger to a child, contact local emergency services or the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.
General Community Standards
No harassment, threats, or hate speech toward other users.
No sharing of sexual or explicit content, including in photos or messages.
No impersonation or fake profiles.
No spam, scams, or solicitation.
No use of the app for illegal activities of any kind.
Enforcement
Violations of these standards may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent banning.
Serious violations — including any CSAE or CSAM — result in immediate permanent banning and reporting to authorities.
We reserve the right to take action against any account that threatens the safety of our community.
Compliance with Child Safety Laws
Spark complies with applicable child safety laws, including U.S. federal law and international regulations regarding the protection of minors online.
We follow best practices recommended by the Tech Coalition for combating online child sexual exploitation and abuse.
